Iran short film wins Best Short Film Award from American fest

Iran short film ‘From Hasakah with Love’ has won Best Short Film Online Award for November from DaVinci International Film Festival in the U.S.

Directed by Mohammad Farahani, the short film succeeded to win Best Short Film Online Award from the American film event.

“A girl who lives in the ISIS invaded  Kurdish city of Hasaka in Syria tries to find a way not to be captured by the terrorist fighters,” a short synopsis of the 9-minute film reads.

DaVinchi International Film Festival hosts a QUARTERLY online festival series for all film categories.  Winners of the “Vitruvian Award” will be invited to the Live Showcase Event at the end of the calendar year in Los Angeles, where they will compete against other quarterly winners for their shot at the most prized commendation, The Leo.
